Same sex marriage was legal in Ancient Rome

Same sex marriage was proven by the US Supreme court in 2015 to be allowed by the US Constitution meaning same sex marriage could have been legalized as early as the 18th century if it was interpreted like that . Thus, due to that, same sex marriage is now and retroactively a natural-rights philosophy of eternal principles of justice that are rooted in the nature of things and self-evident truths rooted in the laws of universes and morality. 

Moreover, this quote from Barry Goldwater “ I am pretty secure in feeling that discriminating against gays is constitutionally wrong.” , further solidifies that line of reasoning)

Whig Historiography shows that the US from the 18th century/19th century onward etc was on the path to affirming and legalizing same sex marriage
